My name is Patricia Melck. I have always been passionate about animals and dogs in particular - I currently have 3 of my own. I believe it is very important to socialise and train your dog from a very young age. Training helps your dog adjust to the human way of doing things. When I was made redundant at the start of lockdown, I decided to follow my dream and start my own puppy school. I completed the Pet Sense College's Canine Behaviour and Training Instructor Course in 2020. I have also completed some short courses by renowned dog trainers, Victoria Stilwell and Ian Dunbar. I look forward to helping you and your puppy take those first crucial steps towards a happy and well socialised life.
What I offer
Puppy Training Classes Stage 1
5 week course for puppies aged under 4 months. Classes run for 1 hour and are held weekly with the course costing R500 per puppy.
The focus is on early learning and socialisation during this critical period with the aim of having a well balanced and adjusted puppy. Groups are small to allow for personal attention.
Classes held in Strand
Puppy Training Classes Stage 2
4 week course for puppies aged under 5 months that have completed the early learning course. Classes run for 1 hour and are held weekly with the course costing R400 per puppy. Additional exercises are learnt and socialisation with other dogs is maintained. Groups are small to allow for personal attention.
